G-Dragon

G-Dragon or Kwon Ji-Yong is the leader of Korean boy band Big Bang. G-Dragon debuted at the age of 12, by participating in the Korean Hip Hop Flex album in 2001, as the third oldest member of the group. In 2002, he was scouted to YG Entertainment.

Besides the leader of Big Bang, G-Dragon also produces his own album. His first debut solo artist via the release of his debut album Heartbreaker. The lead single "Heartbreaker" was a hit, topping various charts upon release.

Jiyong is the leader of Big Bang & vocalist/rapper of the group, alongside TOP. He is a widely-accepted & talented songwriter, having won the ‘Songwriter Award’ in 2007 from MKMF, Jiyong has taken on an active role of composing songs for Big Bang, such as their hit song ‘This Love.’

He was originally suppose to debut as a child hip-hop artist in hope of gaining fame, popularity, & success like Lil Bow Wow & Lil Romeo did in the states. However he was unable to release an album & was limited to only appearing in YG artists’ albums. On January 2001, Jiyong debuted on the album, “Daehanmingook Hip-Hop Flex” as a rapper. He was later recruited with Taeyang to act in JinuSean’s MV as their minis, which happened on February of the same year.

Afterward he began to train for his planned debut as the hip-hop group, GDYB, with Taeyang. During his training, he was already featured on songs & appearing in MVs by Perry, Se7en, JinuSean, Masta Wu, Wheesung, YG Family, Gummy, Swi. T, & Lexy. GDYB was allowed to release 2 songs for YG Family’s second album & appear alongside Se7en for the World Cup, but they, unfortunately, was never able to release an album nor debut. In 2004, both Taeyang & Jiyong was listed as YG’s fresh, new faces & was scheduled that year. However, those plans were quickly cancelled by Hyun Suk, who had planned on forming a 4-6 member group. It was until 2 years later, in 2006, that Big Bang was finally able to announce their official debut.

G-Dragon Plagiarism controversy :

Big Bang's leader G-Dragon is under heavy criticism (again) for being unoriginal and a plagiarizer.

G-Dragon who has upheld the image that he is a musical and creative genius is under heavy criticism due to his song 'Fool' (Babo), on their 2nd mini album 'Hot Issue'. This however, isn't the first time he's been under investigation, their original hit song 'Lie' had also gone through the same ordeal.

'Fool' is said to have great similarities with a Japanese House song, the piano instrumentals are way too similar to be a coincidence. A YG Entertainment spokesperson however, spoke out on the issue and said that 'Fool' is not a re-sampling and that it is original. They stated that the similarities are just a coincidence, therefore they do not consider it as plagiarism.

It's obvious that YG Entertainment will support their artists and cover up the truth. But how many more coincidences will there have to be until G-Dragon is recognized as an unoriginal con-artist and plagiarizer. G-Dragon isn't a musical genius, the only genius that he has is being able to slip through these situations and still maintain this falsified image. What's ironic though is how he claims to have written both songs while titling the very first one 'Lies', now that's coincidence!

Tae Yang

Tae Yang is the vocalist and second leader (after G-Dragon) of Korea Boy Band Big Bang. Tae Yang began training under YG Entertainment at the age of twelve alongside fellow member and leader G-Dragon. After six years of vocal and dance training he made his debut in 2006 as part of Big Bang.

Because Seung Ri shares the same name as fellow member TOP (Choi Seung Hyun), he is often called by his stage name Seung Ri, which means 'Victory' in Korean. This therefore explains his very 1st stage name 'V' when Big Bang debuted. Otherwise, he is also called the 'maknae' which means the youngest.

Before joining Big Bang, Seung Ri was a member of Il Hwa, a Gwangju dance team which performed at various public events from August 2003 to January 2005. He was also on "Battle Shinhwa", a show that looked for the second Shinhwa, one of the most successful Korean boy bands to date. However, he was rejected in the 13th episode because although he was a great dancer, his vocals failed to impress. However, his talent was noticed by YG's CEO who said Seung Ri's outstanding dance skills earned him a place in the company, as he was shocked that Seung Ri had an incredible ability to create his own dance routines for performances, and hence he was recruited into YG.

At the Golden Disk Awards in December 2007, Seung Ri injured his ankle during the reharsals but still performed at the awards ceremony, avaggrating his injury, resulting in him missing MBC Music Core's 100th episode special with Daesung and TOP for the Seo Ta Ji tribute performance. On the 29th, in the middle of the 'Big Bang is Great' 2nd concert, Seung Ri was rushed into the emergency room when his ankle's condition worsened during the concert. The next day, he still continued to particpate in Big Bang's concert which brought much surprise to fans who thought he would rest due to his condition.

Seung Ri is also the first member of Big Bang to star in a musical. In February 2008, he was double casted for the main lead of the popular musical 'Sonagi', transforming from a singer to his first work as an actor. The musical 'Sonagi' is recognised for it's production and popularity, based on a popular short story - describing as being a painful and pure love story which is even thought in textbooks in Korea. Seung Ri was casted for the male lead after 3 auditions at the Seoul Metropolitan Musical Theatre. He performed in 18-19 out of the 39 planned performancs of the musical in the Seoul Sejong Cultural Centre's M Theatre from 12th April to 5th May.

He also showed an interest in filming and to date, is the second member to debut as an actor after fellow member, T.O.P. He filmed his first film role in June 2008. Titled 우리집에 왜 왔니 ("Why Did You Come to Our House?"), the film also stars Kang Hye Jung and featured Seung Ri as Kang\'s first love. The movie is about Byung Heel (played by Park Hee Soon), the owner of the house, who has lost his wife in an accident and suffers from dementia and Soo Kang (played by Kang Hye Jung) someone who came has left her first love during her high school time and still holds thoughts of her first love, loitering around the neighbourhood. The film was scheduled to be released at the end of 2008.

Dae Sung

Kang Dae Sung or Dae Sung, is a vocalist of Korea Boy Band Big Bang. Fans praise Dae Sung's humorous personality and astounding vocals and dedicate numerous websites to him. During the auditions, Dae Sung was called "Unpretty Boy", but later, the staff team confirmed that Daesung is actually the most popular member in Big Bang.

Daesung Entertainment also known as DSP Entertainment is a Korean entertainment company, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Its greatest success has been the girl group Fin.K.L, which managed to win a prestigious Daesang, or Best Artist Award, in 1999 and the boy band Sechs Kies. The only artists active in 2006 were SS501 and May Bee. Lee Hyori stayed with the management after Fin.K.L. disbanded, but left in November 2006 to join M-Net Entertainment.

Dae Sung More information :

Kang Dae Sung is a vocalist in Big Bang. During the auditions, Dae Sung was called “Unpretty Boy” and “ugly”, but later, the staff team confirmed that Daesung is actually the most popular member in Big Bang. Dae Sung has an obsession with “Doraemon”, a Japanese animation. Big Bang

Big Bang is a famous korean boyband, consists of five members : G-Dragon, Tae Yang, Seung Ri, Dae Sung, T.O.P. Big Bang may be the most well knowned Korea group band after Tohoshinki.

Although their debut was somewhat successful, it was not until the release of "거짓말" ("Lies") that the group gained mainstream success. Big Bang have been noted for their music as well as their taste in fashion, becoming famous throughout the country in the process.

Big Bang also famous in Japan, as they are also releasing album in Japanese language. In 2008, "Big Bang" entered the Japanese market with their Japanese album "For The World" (a collection of previous Korean singles in addition to new song "How Gee"). A third Korean mini-album "Stand Up" was also released.

Big Bang is a complete team. The members of the band are all talented performers; from vocals and rap to dance and songwriting, Big Bang filled its debut album with music created by the members themselves. G.DRAGON and T.O.P wrote the lyrics of their debut single. All 5 members of the band will not take part in each song; each member of the band will choose the songs that best showcase their talents. G.DRAGON and T.O.P., who both excel in rap, will perform “We Belong Together” and the R&B ballad “A Tearful Fool” will be performed by Tae-yang, Dae-sung and Seung-ri.

2006: Debut and success

Big Bang made their debut at the YG Family concert, held on August 19th, 2006 at the Gymnastics Arena in Seoul Olympic Park. The group originally consisted of six members, but one was dropped in the ninth episode of their documentary video. Originally, two were intended to be dropped, SO-1 and Seung Ri. However, only SO-1 was dropped with Seung Ri still in the group.

Big Bang released their first single, "The First Single Album," on August 29, 2006 with the song "This Love" getting high requests among radio stations. Their second single "Big Bang is V.I.P." was released a month later on September 28, 2006. Again, it was a success. On November 22, 2006 they released their third single entitled "B I G B A N G 0 3". In December 30, 2006, Big Bang had their very first concert titled, The Real. The concert was a success, filling all 12,000+ seats. They also released a music video of their cover song from Israel "My Girl", with Tae Yang as the soloist, bringing much of the attention to him. The following month, their first album "Since 2007" was released, with a total of 110,408 copies sold.

Ei bine trecand peste acest eveniment neplacut, sau surprinzator, cum vreti voi, vreau sa va spun ca tocmai am inceput sa urmaresc un serial coreean! Serialul se numeste "Protect the boss!". Si vreau sa va spun ca imi place foarte mult acest serial. Si vreau sa vi-l recomand. Este un serial foarte dragut ce merita vizionat!
In continuare am sa pun cateva informatii referitoare la serial si niste poze!

Vi-l imaginaţi pe Ji Seong (regele Soo Ro) în rolul unui tânăr bogătaş răsfăţat, care are nevoie de o femeie ca să-l apere? Cam aşa pare a fi personajul pe care Ji Seong îl interpretează în noua kdramă ce se difuzează la SBS începând cu 3 august.
Drama “Protect the Boss” este o comedie romantică, o poveste a meştenitorului unui bogat „chaebol” care se îndrăgosteşte de o femeie obişnuită.

Cha Ji-heon (Ji Seong), fiul preşedintelui Grupului DN şi protagonist al noii telenovele, este deosebit de alte personaje reci şi arogante, aşa cum este Kim Ju-won din “Secret Garden” şi Hyeon Gi-jun din “True Romance”. Cha este adesea criticat de către tatăl său pentru slabele performanţe de la muncă şi este portretizat ca un om „bun de nimic” pentru companie.
“El s-ar putea să pară perfect: moştenitor al unei familii foarte bogate, care are tot ce vrea”, a spus Ji Seong despre personajul său. “Cu toate acestea, el trăieşte în interiorul unei lumi mici al lui. El a fost profund rănit când a murit fratele său”.
Ji Seong joacă rolul Ji-heon, un şef delincvent, dar care arată ca un om perfect şi are titlul de director al sediul central al grupului. Dar el râde, tot timpul şi oricine ajunge să-l cunoască constată că nu face nimic bine.

Choi Kang-hee interpretează rolul secretarei Noh Eun-seol. În timpul interviului pe care îl dă la companie, ea recunoaşte că a încercat de multe ori să-şi găsească un job, dar a eşuat. Chiar a fost şi hărţuită sexual. Toate acestea îi fac pe telespectatori să le fie milă de ea.
Eun-seol se roagă cu disperare pentru un loc de muncă şi în cele din urmă obţine unul. Cu toate acestea, lucrurile se complică şi mai mult când ea este numit în funcţia de asistent personal pentru stângaciul director Ji-heon.

Kim Je-jung din trupa „JYJ” îl interpretează pe Cha Mu-won, vărul lui Ji-heon, cu care se luptă pentru dreptul de proprietate asupra companiei. Kim a jucat în 2009 în filmul “Postman to Heaven” şi în 2010 în drama japoneză “Sunao ni Narenakute”, dar dar acum debutează în serialele coreene.

Cu toate acestea, entuziasmul meu depăşeşte povara pe care o port, iar ceilalţi actori din serial m-au ajutat foarte mult”, a spus Kim.

Ji Seong şi Kim Je-jung arată cele două aluri total diferite de şef. Deşi Cha Ji-heon (Ji Seong), şi Cha Mu-won (Kim Je-jung) sunt verişori primari, ei duc o luptă interesantă mentală ca urmare a bătăliei pentru putere. Cha Ji-heon a dezvoltat un sentiment de inferioritate faţă de talentatul său văr Cha Mu-won, în timp ce Cha Mu-won este în poziţie defensivă faţă de Cha Ji-heon, în ceea ce priveşte obţinerea controlului asupra managementului companiei, din cauza istoriei complicate a familiei.
Caraceterele opuse ale celor două personaje pe care le interpretează vor creea, probabil, în curând, „sindromul şefilor arătoşi”.

Prin urmare, cele doi schimbă de multe ori aceste priviri, care treptat se transformă într-o duşmănie de moarte între şeful delicvent (“arătosul delincvent” Ji Seung) şi şeful model (“isteţul” Kim Je-jung). Deşi Ji Seong şi Kim Je-jung îşi aruncă aceste priviri fioroase în timpul filmarilor, ei stau mult împreună şi vorbesc în timpul pauzelor de filmare.

Actrita Wang Ji-hye care este Seo Na-Yun, un avocat perfecţionist de la compania lui Cha. Ea este, de asemenea, fata unei familii bogate.
“Ea este femeia perfecta, dar ar putea intra într-o situaţie neaşteptată, cum ar fi apariţia lui Eun-Seol”, a declarat Wang. “Seo are un farmec uman în spatele apariţiei unui perfecţionist.”

In „Protect the Boss” este o atmosferă plină de voie bună şi culoare.
În primul episod al kdramei „Protect the Boss”, care a fost difuzat pe 3 august, telespectatorii au luat cunoştinţă cu personajele principale şi mulţi dintre ei au început deja să încerce să anticipeze care ste povestea. În special, combinaţia dintre Ji Seong, Choi Kang-hee, Kim Je-jung Kim, şi Park Younkyu şi Kim Hyungbum a fost suficient pentru a capta atenţia privitorilor.

Netizenii au comentat că „Protect the Boss” este pe lista lor de drame preferate datorită „chimiei” hilare dintre Choi Kang-he şi Ji Seong, de pe ecran, precum şi interpretării comice a veteranului actor Park Youngkyu, care joaca rolul tatălui lui Ji-heon, dar şi de CEO al companiei.

Spectatori care au văzut primul episod s-au declarat în mare parte mulţumiţi: „E distracţie”; „Park Youngkyu este distractiv şi Ji Seog este foarte drăguţ”; „Este pur şi simplu tare amuzant”.
